THE KITE is a manmade craft – a connector between humanity and nature.
KITE FLYING is a temporary yet humbling ritual of engaging with a piece of the SKY.
the activity allows us to be temporarily eternal like the sky,
to have a bit of us up there, performing and living vicariously through it.
the kite’s journey to the sky is more fascinating to us than its predictable outcome of hitting the ground. we wish to replicate the kite-making / kite-flying / kite-becoming experience, as well as to explore the limitations & boundaries that exist between fashion and the human body.
